ABOUT
Little City Studio empowers children to think like designers, artists, and innovators through inquiry-based learning. We cultivate curiosity by encouraging students to ask questions, test ideas, and explore how art, architecture, fashion, and technology shape the world around them. Through hands-on studio practice, children investigate real-world challenges, experiment with materials, and develop the confidence to build thoughtful, creative solutions. Our mission is to nurture independent thinkers who learn not by being told what to create, but by discovering what is possible.

The Mission

Little City Studio is proud to partner with HiSawyer, a local Brooklyn-based platform designed to make enrollment simple and seamless for families.
HiSawyer allows parents to browse classes, register for sessions, and manage bookings all in one place. Families can easily view schedules, sign up for individual classes or class packs, and receive reminders and updates. With everything organized in one system, HiSawyer helps ensure a smooth and reliable experience for our families and our studio.
STUDIO
Expression Studio
Small worlds are everywhere—you just have to look closely. In this activity, students become landscape designers, shaping their own miniature environment inside a glass jar.
Design Studio
Students will design and build their own balanced, moving artworks, exploring how form, weight, and placement affect motion.
Dreamineers Lab
Using soft pine wood, large-headed nails, lighweight hammer, and thread, students create geometric designs by hammering anchor points and weaving thread to form lines, shapes, and layered patterns. This is a fun way to introduce basic tool saftey and a introduction to woodworking.

REVIEWS

"My child has never been excited about afterschool unless it's Design Studio day. They come home talking about what they designed. The projects are thoughtful, the materials are high quality, and you can really feel the intention behind it. It’s such a special time for my daughter to have access to so many tools she normally can't use in school." - Sarah, Parent of a 3rd Grader

" What I love most is how seriously Savannah takes the children’s ideas. My son was really inspired to be an Architect. He says he wants to be famous too and this confidence has carried over into other parts of his life. It’s more than an art class, it’s teaching them how to think for themselves." - David, Parent of a 3rd Grader
