The Studio

Little City Studio offers something different from a traditional classroom or one-off craft project. It is a space built around curiosity, agency, and care, rather than instruction, speed, or identical outcomes.

For families, this means children are not just completing activities. They are learning how to think, make decisions, take risks, and work alongside others.

In our studio, children are given permission to make real messes. Paint spills, cardboard scraps pile up, tape tangles, and ideas stretch beyond neat edges. Our messes are not accidents. They are signs of deep engagement. Children learn how to plan, revise, clean up, and take responsibility for their work and their shared space.

Unlike traditional craft activities with pre-cut pieces and step-by-step instructions, a studio offers access to real materials and safe fabrication tools. Children might use hand tools, simple fasteners, cutting tools designed for young hands, and building systems like 3D printing and laser cutting, that allow them to construct, take apart, and rebuild. Safety is built into the environment through supervision, clear expectations, and tools chosen specifically for children, not by limiting exploration.

This kind of environment builds confidence. Children learn that their ideas matter, that mistakes are part of the process, and that learning happens through doing, not just listening.

They leave with more than a finished object. They leave with a sense of capability, independence, and pride.

For parents, the studio becomes a place where creativity feels meaningful, learning feels joyful, and mess has a purpose.

Registration Types

Drop-

In

Perfect for flexibility. Drop in for a single session and explore the studio at your own pace—great for trying something new or fitting creativity into a busy schedule.

Class

Packs

Ideal for consistency and savings, class  packs are a flexible, discounted, and bundled purchasing option designed for families to buy multiple drop-in activity spots in bulk rather than paying for each class individually.

How They Work

Once a pack is purchased, spots can be booked for eligible drop-in classes without paying a separate fee at checkout. The system automatically recognizes the pack, shows "1 spot applied," and brings the checkout balance to $0.

Expiration

Class packs are not tied to specific dates, allowing you to book classes at your convenience. However, packs expire after 90 days.

Monthly

Payments

To support our families, monthly payment plans are available for large enrollment packages and Full Camp Enrollment.

This option is especially beneficial for our Afterschool Program because it gives children a consistent weekly rhythm and secures their place in the program.

Our sessions are intentionally small, with no more than 10 students, so classes may fill before families can use a class pack or register for individual drop-in sessions.

Monthly payments are processed on the 1st of each month through Sawyer, and payment plans may be canceled at any time, with no cancelation fee.

Full Camp Payment

For the most immersive studio experience, families can enroll in the full camp schedule through Sawyer. This option provides continuity and more time for in-depth project development—allowing children to experience Little City Studio as it was truly intended.

An automatic discount is applied at checkout, giving families the best value and peace of mind knowing their child’s spot is secured.
